Careers Education & Gatsby Benchmark Support
Careers provision is reviewed against eight Gatsby Benchmarks, and increasingly forms part of Ofsted's wider judgement on how well a school prepares pupils for their next steps — yet it's an area many schools return to only when a Careers Hub review or inspection is looming.This service reviews current provision against all eight benchmarks, with particular attention to a question generic careers audits often skip: how well are disadvantaged pupils actually reached by meaningful encounters with employers, workplaces, apprenticeships and further/higher education — not just whether an assembly happened, but whether it changed anything for the pupils who needed it most. Where gaps exist, we build a practical, resourced plan to close them ahead of external review.
